Some kids dream of being astronauts or superheroes. For me, the dream was simple: I wanted to dance—and never stop.
I grew up in England, and my love for movement began at just five years old when I walked into Chaplins Stage School under the guidance of Belinda Hill. Between ballet barres and tap shoes, I found my home. Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre—it all lit a fire in me that’s never gone out.
That passion led me to receive one of only two scholarships to train at Stella Mann College of Performing Arts, where I earned diplomas in Musical Theatre and Dance. It was there I learned the true meaning of discipline, artistry, and connection.
After college, I danced around the world—literally—performing on cruise ships for Royal Caribbean and P&O Australia, and competing across the UK in top-tier Ballroom and Latin events, including the Bournemouth UK Championships and the iconic Champions of Tomorrow at Blackpool.
But my story didn’t stop there.
Today, I live and breathe Ballroom. I currently compete in the NDCA Professional Rising Star and Open Professional divisions in American Smooth—bringing everything I’ve learned to the competitive floor with passion, precision, and a deep respect for the art.
While I’ve spent the past few years teaching in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I’m excited to share that in August, I’ll be relocating to Indianapolis and teaching out of Starlite Ballroom (Indianapolis Dance Lessons). This next chapter gives me the chance to work with a vibrant new community of dancers, while continuing to coach Pro/Am competitors and social students across the country.
My certifications include an Associate International Ballroom Certification through A.I.D.A. (passed with Highly Commended), Exercise-to-Music Fitness, Inclusive Dance Instruction, First Aid, and Designated Safeguarding Lead for Children.
But to me, credentials are only one part of the story.
Dance has always been about more than steps or routines—it’s about people. It’s about creating space where everyone, from beginners to professionals, feels seen, supported, and inspired. Whether you’re stepping onto the floor for the first time or chasing your next title, I’m here to help you find your rhythm, your confidence, and maybe even your own story—one 8-count at a time.
